As an environmental law and policy expert, with a background as an Environmental Sciences Major at USC, a Natural Resources Law Major in law school, and having held positions at The Sierra Club, the Natural Resources Defense Council, The Wilderness Society, The Environmental Defense Fund and The Fund for Public Interest Research, Mike firmly believes that we need to continue to move away from reliance on non-renewable energy sources and employ Californians to build the energy infrastructure of tomorrow. He also strongly supports preserving our precious natural spaces. This is why Mike supports green incentives in planning, construction, promoting the urban canopy, and recycling in order to promote public and private partnerships to preserve habitat while building greener communities.
