Mike knows all too well that many parts of our District and California are deteriorating. Los Angeles and many of its surrounding communities are aging and badly require rebuilding and renewal. From sidewalks to streets, and from alleys to public spaces, too little of the State’s budget has been allocated toward making the necessary improvements that impact daily quality of life. By leveraging both private development and public funds, aging infrastructure can be repaired and replaced with sustainable and enduring improvements … while creating good paying jobs. Mike wants to ensure that parks are usable, sidewalks are walkable and streets are drivable and rideable for both cars and bicycles alike.
